Despite the dark time we are all facing, once again this year we have organized the traditional Annual Symposium of the National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO), on a virtual platform. The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to this event, scheduled as a Zoom meeting on November 23rd-25th 2020. The registration will be free for everybody. 

The 2020 INO Annual Symposium, entitled “Quantum for Renaissance”, will be a unique occasion for distinguished Italian and foreign scientists, from both research Institutions and Academia, to discuss the role of photonics in the emerging fields of quantum simulation/computing, sensing and communication. The conference will also be an opportunity to share the CNR-INO highlights presented by many young scientists, thus drawing an up-to-date picture of the Institute main research lines. The opening and closing Lectures will address broader themes, dealing with the impact of Quantum Technologies on, e.g., Environment, Health or Science itself.
